Fuuzio Group acquires City to Surf Solar

Today, Fuuzio Group announced their acquisition of solar power company, City to Surf Solar. Formally a family-owned and operated business, City to Surf Solar supplies and installs residential and commercial solar systems throughout the Geelong region in Victoria

“The City to Surf Solar business met our acquisition profile, with the technical ability, operational knowledge and sales capability to survive the exit of the vendor and work toward future growth”, said Aidan Mountford, Fuuzio Group CEO.

Regarding synergies and business development, the acquisition of City to Surf Solar provides Fuuzio Group with the opportunity to augment their existing Mildura-based electrical services business, Foreman Sheean.

“Through this acquisition, we now have the capacity to leverage our renewable energy services throughout the Sunraysia region, while also cementing our electrical maintenance services across Geelong and Melbourne”, says Aidan.

Ensuring continuity for existing City to Surf Solar employees, Fuuzio Group will work closely with the team throughout the transition phase. With a strong focus on investing in people, Fuuzio Group will provide leadership training, coaching, and will run a 12 month professional development program for staff.

“Our role in the Surf to City Solar business is to evolve the culture and build leaders. The Fuuzio team is here to provide support and opportunities for the people who work in the business, so they can take ownership and run it as their own”, says Aidan.

Engaging the original owner for a period of six months to provide ongoing support to the team, the acquisition will give City to Surf Solar access to capital and new markets. This, in turn, enables then to take the next step in business growth.

City to Surf Solar will now operate under the business name ‘C-Zero Pty Ltd trading as City to Surf Solar’.
